GHGHL GAME PROTEST

Overview:

The purpose of the document is to ensure teams and associations have a fair opportunity to represent themselves. While many variables can arise during gameplay, protests will be considered in two specific areas:

  1. Interpretation or violation of a GHGHL rule.
  2. Use of improperly registered, unregistered, ineligible or suspended player.

Important: Protests are complaint-driven. Without a formal form submitted that includes supporting documentation (e.g., game sheet), the Executive will not pursue the matter.

Procedure:

  1. Complete all sections of the protest form and attach the game sheet if required.
  2. Submit the completed form to your Association’s Representative for forwarding to the GHGHL Executive.
  3. The Association Representative will email the document to the Vice President and Discipline Chair, copying the President.
  4. The Vice President and Discipline Chair will review the protest and determine the course of action within 72 hrs.
  5. The decision will be communicated to all affected parties. If website updates are required, an email request will be sent to ghghlaccess@gmail.com.
  6. All decisions are final.
